As the leader of the Android ecosystem, Google is preparing to launch its new generation phones Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. We are now starting to have clear information about the features of the two phones. While we were in excited anticipation, Google recently released a promotional video detailing the design of Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.
Design Details of Pixel 8 Series
The Google event on October 4 is expected to introduce the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro models. As we get closer to the event, we observe a significant increase in Google’s shares. In the last shared video, we can see that both phones come with a few minor changes based on the design of their predecessors.
Especially the infrared temperature sensor on the back of Pixel 8 Pro attracts attention. In addition, the rounded frame and camera sensor designs of both models stand out.
Expected Pixel 8 Features
Google Pixel 8 Pro is expected to offer a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED screen, 1344 x 2992 pixel resolution and 120hz refresh rate. This device, which will come with Android 14, is planned to have a 4,950mAh battery with 27W wired and 23W wireless charging support.
Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will use Google’s new processor, the Tensor G3 platform. Looking at the camera features, the Pro model will be accompanied by a 50MP Samsung GN2 with OIS support, 64MP ultra wide-angle lens, 48MP telephoto camera and 11MP selfie sensor. Regarding pricing, Pixel 8 Pro is expected to be available in Europe starting from 1,235.72 Euros.
