What’s Coming with OriginOS 4?
OriginOS The user interface has so far only been available on Vivo and iQOO branded phones sold in China. However, in the global market, Vivo was offering the FunTouch OS interface to users.
Considering the Android 14-based FunTouch OS 14 that Vivo recently introduced in India, we are looking forward to what this new interface will bring.
Innovations Brought by FunTouch OS 14
FunTouch OS 14 came with many new features that enrich the overall experience of users. The Smooth Envision feature increases RAM usage while optimizing system performance. Especially on devices with 8 GB or more RAM, up to 600 MB of extra RAM space is offered.
In addition, App Retainer allows applications to quickly return to their last state for multitasking, while Motion Blur creates smoother visual transitions on screens. This feature provides an 18.7% improvement in user experience. Moreover, the operating system is now equipped with an improved small window feature that supports 12 active windows.
All these features introduced in FunTouch OS 14 will be transferred to OriginOS 4 with some improvements. The first phones to be released with OriginOS 4 will be the iQOO 12 series and X100 flagship models. Vivo is also expected to introduce its own artificial intelligence platform and new operating system for IoT devices during the event.
